BAFTA 2017 Nominations

With the Golden Globes done and dusted, it’s time for something a little more prestigious wouldn’t you say? Here are the nominations for the 2017 BAFTA awards. Taking pole position is La La Land with 11 nominations with Nocturnal Animals and Arrival not far behind getting 9 each. It’s no surprise that the buzz around these films has amounted to such acclaim with critics and awards. All of the have such impressive merits, but I say the one to watch is La La Land. Here are the nominations in full, the BAFTA ceremony takes place on Sunday 12 February.
